In line with Effy Creations’s motto, Effy Creations’ Editions was created as an independent structure to edit, translate, publish and distribute experimental books, comics and graphic novels.
Our processes and resources are very flexible, in order to best serve the artists and/or projects that we firmly believe in. As a result, our catalog is very eclectic, with publications in different formats, different language (english, chinese mandarin and french), and covering a wide range of themes.

Writer / illustrator of comics, and finance manager for multinational in his down time.
Over the past decades, G.M. observed the slow and steady standardization of the world, which fueled his production.
His previous works in the comics field include “Stand(H)ard”, and the weekly “Effy – The living efficiency” project. G.M. also produce artworks for several musical projects such as Project 0->1 for SubRosa.

Max Kwoa
World traveler, writer, blogger and poet, Max Kwoa traveled the world with his stuffed dog to keep loneliness at bay (map here), until settling down in Shanghai.
Throughout his countless encounters over Eurasia, Max Kwoa developed an acute sense of perspective, and a definitely unique angle on humanity.
Max Kwoa published three books of fiction, and contributed in several poetry magazine. Max Kwoa is currently hosting “Kwoa’s ~naive~ world trip“.

“Effy – The living efficiency” by G.M. / webcomics updated weekly
G.M.’s experiments on black and white comics medium, using traditional tool to comment on the world relentless quest for standardization and efficiency. As SEO unfriendly this might be, G.M.’s take on Effy ends up being one of the most entertaining, challenging and oddly gorgeous piece of b&w strips we’ve seen this year.
