Couplets are inherent to Chinese culture, and remains a popular mean of expression. Not being written in Chinese, this one merges both the Chinese and western approach of couplets, a fusion form shall we say. And to keep up the fusion idea, the old traditional form of couplet here carries modern yet ancestral themes: online forum and inspiration. It also perfectly represent what Kwoa is all about, turning grey into colorful tales… This poem also echoes previous poem: The blogging sestina.
As for the illustrating picture, it was taken in the playground of the Centre Pompidou project in West Bund Art Museum of Shanghai.
